This collection is a narrative-based collection that was inspired by the 1960's song Bang Bang. This collection tells the story of a tragic heartbreak. This collection starts out with light aspirin dot and tulle fabrics in very feminine colors and as the collection progresses changes into darker heavier fabrics like the coated kevlar used in a few of the pieces. These dark fabrics and darker looks illustrate the way we as humans are altered by the pain of heartbreak.
Below is a small bonus group I created in addition to this above collection of womenswear. The looks designed represent a story of a woman suffering a terrible heartbreak who gets trapped in her own grief and is lost unable to regain the light-hearted, frivolous past she once had. I wanted this bonus group of knives to partner with the dark hostility and that trapped feeling portrayed in the latter looks of this collection.
